Woven Paper Textile: "White Wedding" (version 2).
Materials: Appropriated image on paper, Japanese paper, metallic and holographic threads.
Dimensions: 30" x 24"; Open shadow box frame: 36" x 30" .
Artwork is suspended from a wooden dowel housed in an open shadow box frame 2" deep.
Note: the 'eye' of a digital camera is confused by the light reflected by the silver threads and tries to 'correct' the effect i am trying to achieve. The holographic threads reflect little pings of colour, along with the shimmer of the silver threads.
